My Friend Chuck

Over the weekend I learned that my friend Chuck Woolery died.

I wanted to share this video of a couple of memories of me and Chuck working together/goofing off in the studio.

Chuck had a MASSIVE impact on my life—more than he ever knew… (or maybe he did).

Chuck had an amazing, almost fairytale life…yet he was grounded in reality and loved the Lord. One of eastern Kentucky's finest products…

In what became a pivotal moment in my life in 2013, THE Chuck Woolery called me out of the blue to tell me he'd become a fan of Intellectual Froglegs... and he always shared the show.

To say I was gobsmacked is an understatement.

Of course as soon as he said hello, I knew it was Chuck Woolery. He had a very distinct voice.

Over the years, we regularly spoke on the phone and he had the best stories. Turns out that Chuck and I both grew up in eastern Kentucky...

Chuck knew everybody, from John Wayne to Jonathan Winters… he even sang with Dolly Parton!

Chuck is missed already. RIP my friend.
