And then there was one….
Property 2 turned out to be worse than Property 1.
I drove out to the property today only to be greeted by a crazed lunatic screaming and threatening me to get off his property… and to stop harassing his daughter? Whut? He would not even let me speak. Turns out “Human Cujo” is the owner… aka the landlord. Yikes.
I think God introduced me to the owner today so I would know what kind of person I would be dealing with. No thanks.
Which brings us back to Property 1
Despite the fact that it's unfair to have to pay an entire year in advance. When it’s all said and done— the price IS fair for a year. AND it turns out they are a very reputable company in the Nashville area, founded in 1989. AND they require this crap from everyone with ‘no credit.’ They're not just picking on me because I'm a conservative or Christian.
Today, after meeting Property 2’s Human Cujo, lol… I contacted ‘Property 1’ management Company and asked the for more time——and they graciously extended my time until noon tomorrow. I say graciously, because they have a BUNCH of people in line for the house right now. This is not hyperbole or based on their word— I’m actually seeing people looking every time I drive by.
The Perks
The first perk —— is that I won't have to make a rent payment for a year. This will allow me to easily make monthly payments to repay anyone that might be in a position to make the loan (Approximately 25k)
Perk 2… is that it is SO CLOSE… less than a 1/2 mile from where I am now…it would make for a near seamless move. Safe neighborhood, still close to my mailbox and my assistant…who lives in the same neighborhood. And allow me to get right back to work during this critical 2022 Election Season.
What I propose
So I put it in God's hands…as I ask if anyone of you guys are in a position to make such a loan. I will provide all details, the financials, tax docs and bank account. References, etc. I will gladly execute a promissory note with reasonable interest rate, and/or secure the note with my low-milage (39k) 2015 GMC vehicle.
We would need to finalize the deal by in the morning 11AM CT. You would receive monthly payments on the 1st of every month until paid in full within 12 months. No more than 14 months.
If it doesn't work out —I know God wants me to keep looking. But God might like this one too! Sure would be a relief to close the deal tomorrow and start moving.

In closing— I learned when I was living in the Kansas City basement with no money… that the most valuable thing we have is our word. And my reputation for honesty is crucial to the continued success of Intellectual Froglegs. I will not jeopardize that.
